As expected, Samsung Electronics has launched the GALAXY Note 10.1, a super-sized tablet edition of the manufacturer’s popular smartphone which is already quite large in its own right. Samsung is making the device available in a number of colors (black and white), sizes (16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of internal memory), and networking capabilities (WiFi only, WiFi and 3G HSPA+, or WiFi and LTE).
Each GALAXY Note tablet comes equipped with a 10.1-inch screen, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 7,000mAh battery. You’ll also find a 5MP camera opposite a 1.9MP front-facing camera, a microSD card slot with support for up to 64GB, and the company’s trademark 6.5mm S Pen.
Samsung is quite proud of the tablet’s side-by-side multitasking and its suite of preinstalled apps, which include S Note, S Planner, Crayon physics, Polaris Office, Shape Match, Formula Match, Smart Stay, Pop Up Play, AllShare Play, a Learning Hub, and – believe it or not – Photoshop Touch.
The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 is available now in the US, UK, Germany, and Korea, but you’ll have to wait a bit longer for the LTE-enabled version. Other markets are expected to follow in the coming weeks.
